Criminal Minds 4x15: Zoe's Reprise (maybe spoilerish)

I don't know if this would REALLY be considered spoilerish or not, and it's certainly not some in depth analysis. However, two things stood out to me about last night's episode:

1) Zoe reminded me of another overzealous, trouble-finding redhead we all love (too bad there wasn't a Lindsay Boxer there to save her!). What is it about redheads and trouble?!

2) Emily was conspicuously absent during the baby gushfest at the beginning of the episode. I don't know about the women you know, but every straight woman I know goes all gooey eyed and mushy over babies, and they will swarm you to see pictures...so, where was Emily? Hmmmm, just food for thought..

I totally got the Cindy-similarities!!! Just too bad Rossi was invovled.

I thought Emily was a little absent in this episode, but there was a lack of JJ/Emily/Garcia interaction. I really hope they don't end up sticking her with Morgan; that would just be weird all the way around.

Yeah, I know! Except for the Vonnegut connection, I don't see anything between them but friendship (and yes, I'm trying to look at this objectively!). She even teased Morgan about him hitting on Jordan when she first came on board. Now, if you're hot for someone, you don't tease them about getting freaky with someone else. Yeah, it would be weird. They act too much like a brother and sister.

Yep, I agree with that.

That scene at the end with JJ and Rossi probably got their shippers all in a tizzy though. *gags* Sorry, threw up in my mouth a little at the thought of them together. *shudders*

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing and I was actually thinking about it too with that long scene Rossi and Hotch had together. *feels even queasier now* Those shippers were having a field day I bet!!!

*stomps foot* Dang it, I was some good Emily/JJ subtext. This isn't fair! They're hardly in a room together anymore unless it's as a group! Forget them even being alone together anymore.

seriously? I think this episode sucked! I was bored. Another Rossi-case? And we still don't know snitch about Emily's past.
I agree with your two points though. I even thought I might get sick at the baby photo gushing session *yuck*

The case was interesting but I think the writers messes it up this time. It had way more potential then was displayed.
And what's up with the constant JJ/Rossi team up?? Soooo annoying!

Wow, thanks for that Hotch/Rossi image. That's worse than Dane walking into the room just to fart (which he did a second ago). Now I feel really gross.

Let's give it a bit more time. Maybe we'll get something more worthwhile than Emily's gag-me face when JJ explained the ring in last week's episode (btw, was she even wearing it last night?).

I heard that the sweeps episode is going to get more into Emily's past. *shrugs* But we'll see I guess. Garcia had to get shot for that to happen.

When are the sweeps? I thought they are in November...

It's the Feb/March sweeps so it'll be next week, if not the week after. Each show is a bit different in when they release their big spring episode.

Alright. I'm really glad to see that I wasn't the only one that picked up Cindy vibes. And amen to that about having a Lindsay Boxer around to save her. *swoons*

And I totally agree with the sentiments that are running through this comment thread thus far. What the hell is up with all of the Rossi centric plot lines lately? Can they seriously not come up with anything better? I mean how many times do we have to watch him regret his actions or his past... Sorry. /endrant

They are certainly setting Emily up for something. As disgusted as she looked with the whole ring bit last week? I mean, that was blatantly obvious. Just glad we should finally get to know within the next couple of weeks. You can only drag this shit out for so long.

And gee, thanks for the TMI. Sweetie, you don't need the white dress and the ring...you two are as good as married if he does that around you. Oh, and it's only going to get worse just so you know. ;)

Yeah, Rossi drives me nuts. I'd rather deal with Hotch's stoicism than Rossi's "I'm the perfect profiler" attitude, and the way he ogled some of the women in that episode and shuffled that poor girl off. I just wanted to slap him! *sigh* So, in general, yeah...the episode itself sucked. It's just interesting that Emily isn't involved in something so typically heterosexual. Hmmm, I got in trouble for suggesting such a thing over at the CBS CM boards. Anyhoo...

If that's the case, we've been married since our first date when I accidentally squeaked one out in front of him *sheepish grin* But it's progressively gotten worse so I'm sure he's got some big finale for the wedding *rolls eyes*
