*head desk* Yes, I'm insane!

I did it.  I actually have committed myself to Ralst's Epic Proportions challenge.  It's a story I feel like I've been working on forever, and honestly, it was supposed to be finished for last year's EP; however, life and a baby put a hiatus on it.  I am at 55 pages and over 25,000 words, so I think the odds are in my favor that I'll actually finish this time.

Damn, I'm frakkin' nervous about this though.  I post stuff all the time, but this one feels so close to me that it's really personal now.    I just hope it's not crap.  Sofia promises me it's not and she should know.  Poor thing has been my sounding board on this fic for months now!!!  Bless her soul she's put up with a lot of my insecurities and backtracking.  I've changed the path of this story so many times, but I'm far enough along that there's really only one way it can go now, which is where I intended it to go in the first place.  That's a good thing, right?

Alright, off to clean the house and clear my head.  Okay, one more *head desk* for good measure.  *sigh*

Good for you! I'm glad you decided to bite the bullet and go for it. What fandom are you writing or is it original fic? Happily you are already well past the 20,000 word mark so no worries there either. And I have a panic attack buddy now ;)
