Summary: Set after the gazebo scene. Natalia’s had enough of Olivia.
A/N: I don’t know where this came from except that I LOVE fiesty!Natalia and I didn’t want her to play nice with Olivia anymore. What can I say, I was PMS’ing last night and Olivia and Natalia got in the way of it.
Natalia had been dancing around Olivia for days. Ever since she had called off the wedding with Frank, she thought things would get better, but they only seemed to be getting worse. Olivia practically barked orders to her at work and if she couldn’t catch Natalia in her wake, she’d just take it out on some other poor employee.
It wasn’t supposed to happen this way. Natalia never imagined that it would end up like this, where Olivia could barely stand to look at her. Why did saying “I love you” have to hurt so bad? Why couldn’t Olivia just see that she was doing the best she could here, trying to figure out her feelings? What the hell did she expect? For Natalia to climb on top of the church in her big white dress and scream to all of Springfield that she was in love with Olivia Spencer? It wasn’t like the thought didn’t cross her mind. Natalia knew herself and what she knew at this very moment was that she was pathetically in love with Olivia. Part of her wanted to do exactly that. The other part of her wanted to give Olivia a smack to the back of the head for her bull-headed behavior. She started this, after all, with her desperate “I’m in love with you” crying.
Natalia had had enough. She was so over whatever had crawled up Olivia that she couldn’t take another moment of her vehemence or snarkiness. Nope, this had to stop right here, right now. She punched the elevator button with a little more force than necessary, but she had to do this while she had the nerve for it.
When she got off the elevator, she headed straight for Olivia’s office, only hesitating a moment with her hand in the air to knock, before changing her mind and swiping her key pass to go in unannounced. She knew she was taking a risk. God knows who could be on the other side of the door, but if she didn’t take a risk, she’d have to deal with a prepared Olivia and she didn’t want that at the moment.
Natalia ignored the older woman jumping at the noise of her entry and didn’t give her a chance to compose herself. She strode over to her and stood within inches of her taller frame.
“You’re sitting. I’m talking. Got it?” Olivia, momentarily shocked, slipped down into her plush leather chair.
Natalia paced for a moment, forcing herself to concentrate on why she was there. It was hard to do when Olivia slowly crossed one skirt covered thigh over the other. Natalia licked her lips and gave herself a mental shake.
“I don’t understand what’s going on with you. You tell me you love me…no, correct that, IN love with me. And then, I bail on my own wedding and tell you I love you too. Thinking, okay, good. We’ll get this out in the open and then we can figure out where to go from here. But you…you tell me there’s no us and you just walk away. And now you’re acting like I did something wrong. You walked away. You decided to run scared, so don’t act pissy with me over your own hardheadedness!”
Natalia watched as the green eyes turned a chilling ice color as they slid up and down her body, pausing at a spot briefly just below her waist, before rising again to lock with her own eyes. The air in the room has quickly shifted and charged as Olivia unwrapped her legs and moved with the speed of a cat to stand in front of Natalia.
“Are you done?”
“No.” Olivia raised an eyebrow at Natalia’s impertence but she didn’t miss the self-conscious shifting of her feet. “How dare you say those things, make me believe, then just walk away? Who do you think you are?”
Olivia smirked and looked down at her, “I’m Olivia Freakin’ Spencer.”
To her credit, Natalia didn’t shrink from the glare. She actually seemed to revel in it, admire it, even crave it. She found her body responding to Olivia’s proximity. They hadn’t been this close since Olivia had lovingly caressed her face by Gus’ grave. She had been so sure that Olivia was going to kiss her back then, and she felt it again now. But it was different because they both had knowledge they didn’t have before. All of this was different and scary. This wasn’t a tender, heartfelt declaration of love. This was…Natalia lost her train of thought as Olivia pressed in closer.
“Is this what you want, Natalia? If you love me, this is what it’s like. It’s not always going to be roses and candlelight,” she leaned in close, running her cheek along Natalia’s, letting her nose nuzzle the soft skin under her ear, “because I’m going to want to fuck you…hard.”
Natalia closed her eyes as they slowly rolled back in her head at the powerful suggestion. She was keenly aware that no part of them was touching except the tender nuzzle along her neck, that sent fire radiating out from her center. If this was only a sampling of what Olivia was capable of doing to her, Natalia was pretty sure she’d no longer have to worry about burning in hell because she’d gladly go to her demise right here in Olivia’s arms.
“Do you want that, Natalia? Is this what you mean when you say you love me or do you want puppy dogs and romantic walks by the lake?” Olivia leaned back and ran her fingers along Natalia’s chin and down her neck, letting one hand trail lower to her cleavage. “I can do it all. I want to do it all. But I have to know what you want. It’s up to you.”
When Olivia stepped away, Natalia shivered at the lose of her so close. They hadn’t even really fully touched, but she felt like she had lost all of her body heat. She watched as Olivia stepped to her desk and turned, tossing her hair out of her face. The older woman simply studied her, letting her eyes linger. The look in her shimmering eyes had changed though. Where there had been coldness, even anger, Natalia saw the distinctive hint of warmth and vulnerability. Only then did it occur to Natalia what had really just happened between them. Olivia had filled in all the missing pieces, shared a part of herself with Natalia. Olivia wanted her and that much was undeniable; however, Olivia had in actions let Natalia know the depth of her needs and desires. She needed to know that Natalia could share in those passions, wherever they took them. The level of trust this must have taken Olivia to share startled Natalia, and she found herself answering the question left in Olivia’s eyes with some actions of her own.
In a few short steps, Natalia had crossed to the desk and pulled Olivia into a kiss. She held the older woman with both hands, stilling her and calming her, before angling for better contact and opening to let her in. A heady moan escaped her lips and Olivia wrapped an arm around Natalia’s waist, pulling her in flush against Olivia’s body. Her other hand pushed them off the desk, and for a brief moment, they stood in the middle of the office arms, mouths, and bodies tangled and grasping.
Natalia gained her momentum first and pushed Olivia back against the wall, pressing her body in tight against Olivia. She pushed her thigh between Olivia’s, lifting just a little until Olivia gave a subtle roll of hips in acknowledgement of the pleasant pressure. Natalia leaned back and looked at the disheveled seductress. She dipped her head in a teasing motion, letting her lips barely brush against Olivia’s.
“I do want you, Olivia, in ways I’m aching to try, but not here…not the first time. I want you in our house and in our bed.” She pulled Olivia’s wrist up and looked at the watch, raising an eyebrow, “In an hour?” She stepped further out of Olivia’s embrace, admiring her handiwork. Olivia’s skirt was bunched and twisted, and her blouse had somehow become half unbuttoned. Natalia smirked at the image, “I’ll arrange to have Jane pick Emma up from school.”
